I bought this to replace a men's foil waterproof razor that was not cutting close enough to my skin on my legs. I have eczema on my legs and I decided to try using an electric waterproof razor instead of disposable 3 blade razors. I tested this waterproof electric shaver outside of the shower with an eco-friendly shave cream and a little water on my bikini area. I used the foil/close trim attachment. This shaver left me with a close shave in the end. Note, I always use aloe gel on my legs and sensitive skin areas after shaving. I'm very happy so far. Hopefully I'll now be able to shave my legs almost every day.

    I needed a replacement for my Panasonic ES246AC which I had used for years and loved, but it stopped being sold recently (of course right when I needed a new one). I wanted something similar that was simple without too many attachments and had a nice angle but was also wide enough to use for larger areas like legs. I didn't want to have to use several devices. This device is exactly like the Panasonic but better because it's also waterproof, rechargeable, and has a shaver head for a really close trim. Trimmer was easy to use, not too loud, did not cut myself, and attachments really easy to swap out (I could do it all one handed as seen in my video) I used the trimmer on underarms, full privates, and legs. Works great for all those areas. I went over my legs and underarms with the shaver after and it did trim the hair really close to just longer than it would be if I shaved. Underarms didn't do as well probably because it's hard to tighten the skin enough in that area.

    Great if you want a trim as close to shaving as possible but without shaving to prevent ingrown hairs, if you're like me and get them easily.

    I love how much quieter this is than my previous electric razor.
    The heads pop on and off so quickly and easily.
    The soft touch coating on the outside feels so nice in the hand (vs a standard shiny plastic razor).

    I don't think the shaving head can open up, which I could do with my previous razor to remove the hair that starts to build up inside. From what I can tell I would need to buy a replacement head if/when that starts to become an issue. Not a dealbreaker with how often I use this (maybe once a month), just something I realized after purchasing.

    I know from experience that these types of razors don't give you baby soft skin, but do help trim down areas that you need to keep 'under control'. Sometimes I will use on my legs in spots where I may have missed in shaving and it does trim it down to a length that is no longer highly visible.

Hoping it’s just this particular razor issue but when it started to die it started getting all glitchy, turning off on off on or not letting me turn it off at all. I finally got it to turn off and plugged it into charge thought all was great and I took it off the charger and now I cannot turn it off. it keeps turning itself back on over and over again. I turn it off. It’ll turn itself back on a second later at this point it’s just sitting on my step running until it dies because it will not turn off. Really disappointed because I love the razor. I love the shave. I love the size and the battery life. I’m going to try it one more time. I’m hoping that it’s just this particular razor and not all of them, but very disappointed in the glitching that’s happening right now .

    The first thing I noticed is how cute it looks! It came with all the attachments, and it came fully charged, which surprised me!
    I tested it on my thighs which I had not shaved in a while, and it worked perfectly. I don’t think I need the guards for my own personal needs, but the trimmer works extremely well to the point where I couldn’t see any hairs the shaver is even better. Even though it states that it won’t give you a close shave like a regular razor, I didn’t see any physical difference. The only way you can see the difference is that after using the trimmer or the shaver if you touch the area, you can still feel a little bit of stubble, very little. I needed it to be super smooth. I can just go in with my regular razor, but I will not have the problem of getting irritated. For the purpose of going to the beach which is why I’m getting this I don’t think I need even need to go in with a razor. Needless to say amazing. Also, let you know that my skin is very sensitive and this did irritate it.

    The devices do the work and do it fairly well (the shaver still pulls); however, they developed circuitry shorts after only a couple months of use. They turn on unexpectedly, and when charging, they won’t turn off. Conversely, they don’t turn on when you need them to, even after a full charge. The products are very reasonably priced, so it seems that you get what you pay for. Won’t be ordering a replacement from Happy Curves.

    I seriously don’t know life without this razor. It provides a close and smooth shave in the areas I want it to and the trimming head obviously doesn’t go all the way to the grain but is enough where u could barely see the hair. The battery life is insane ive charged it once with the 7 months ive owned it. The noise level is pretty average because it’s electric your not going to get one that’s silent. Something I would also like to share is that my razor actually recently go left in the washing machine and when I reached out to the company explaining what happened they were super kind and were able to send me some replacements.

    I’ve used this 3 times now, each time on my underarms I’ve had significant patches of razor burn, particularly uncomfortable when sweating. Legs seem to need to be gone over many many times to get the hairs, I can do 5 goes and still hear that it’s getting hairs it’s missed the first 4 times. Later in the day I keep spotting patches that have missed all hairs but I know I’ve been over.

    Used for bikini line and razor burn there too, with bits still hairy. I’ve always had electric razors and my last one was 8+ years old and functioned better than this. Unfortunately that one was left behind on holiday.

    I never normally leave negative reviews but after another disappointing shave I felt I needed to on this one.
