Overall size appears as pictured in product description. The actual stand is interesting. It manually lifts up, tilts out, then the feet flip down. It has soft textured grippy coatings on the surface areas. The instruction manual is tiny. Not much to read. One concern I have for the future is the Time Set vs Alarm- it's short press to set the clock, and long press the same button to set alarm time. (And also varying #x to cancel, on/off, or snooze alarm.) The AM/PM option is to circle thru to the proper set of 12 by the way. The manual doesn't say that, and if you realize you messed up, you'll almost certainly end up in the reset clock function. I love the really large, bright, clearly defined cleaned numbers on the face. The volume always pops up on the LED and maxes at 16. Volume can be controled both from phone volume while bluetooth connected, or using the buttons on the top of the unit. The sound quality is far better than I was anticipating for such an inexpensive product. The video included in the photo portion of this review shows the speaker at full volume. Even at the max, there is no audio distortion, crackling, or anything else that cheap speakers would experience. The sound is full and clear and the bass isn't bad either. The mode button didn't work for me, and I'm thinking that may because I don't have a TF/SD card inserted. Possibly it auto detects the options available. I'm not sure as the directions do not say. Other details that are unclear or not mentioned are: If you can change the alarm tune or volume- which appears to be "no". (Also will add here that the clock itself has an alarm sound for it. It does not alarm to your choice of music from being connected to phone. It only acts as a speaker for phone while in use.) If powered off, will alarm remain or is device shut down fully- This is key since there is a button to toggle the readout on and off. If the unit is powered down, or battery dies, it would be an unfortunate morning thinking the led was just off. Charge time- For me it took approx 8 hours straight out of the box for the red charging light to stop. That seems like a long time for 1200 mAh capacity. I didn't check prior to charging if it arrived with charge on it. Run/working time- With the digital time showing solid on, I had the speaker connected and playing for a couple hours and then the clock sat for about a day. On day 2 I started hearing random alert chirps. None of the tones built into the device are very loud. The clock started randomly beeping and the display would flash off and back on sporiadically. By morning on day 3, the display was off, but still powered on and functioning otherwise when checked. The alarm went off as scheduled on all 3 days and the battery died sometime near the end of the day. Probably would be a good idea to charge daily or every other day, but not going to a problem if you don't for a day or so. I assume playing music would cut this down a lot. If you can (or should) use clock while plugged in- I haven't tried this for fear of diminishing battery holding capacity, but I'm sure down the road I will get to that point as normal use takes it's toll.
