    We bought the bench to place at the foot of our bed, and even though the bench is only 43 inches long instead of the advertised 55 inches, it still looks ok. This is an expensive over priced bench $300 (includes tax) for what I consider must be the "runt of the litter". We returned the bench for hopefully a longer version, but alas the 2nd bench was the same short length. So, we gave in and will keep it. The Amazon rep said sorry, and it won't happen again after the 1st delivery, and they would make the arrangements to return; but the rep was wrong on both points. After waiting two days, we had to start over and make the arrangements to return ourselves. We have had mostly good luck with Amazon in the past so will just chalk this order up to bad luck.
