I was going through mastitis terribly and my pump I got through insurance did not help. Shape was round and very uncomfortable. Also did not empty my breasts properly. Not to mention the suction pattern did not help for me( motif portable pump) this pump immediately upon using it felt much better with the silicone suction flanges and got way more milk out MUCH faster. Pumping was a very long process from start to finish for me. Now it’s actually within the recommended time of 15-20 min ( I was not experiencing that before) even with my over supply of milk. I’m very grateful this product exists and it is well worth the investment. Super satisfied. The noise is a bit loud and it would be nice to have an LED screen that has a flashlight for night pumping and time tracking ( when you’re a zombie in the middle of those night feedings) but the product works very well. I did have to purchase separate flanges because I am a 27mm so I bought 2 sets. Also bought rechargeable batteries for the mobile option; it only gives you a few uses out of the (8) double A batteries required. I’d rather save money long term since I plan to breastfeed for at least a year. Has been working great, no motor malfunctions or glitches. So much easier to clean than other pumps I’ve had & Medela is so good about having all the products needed from expelling all the way through to baby’s feed. Love!
