This was a nice kit. It was fun to do, and came with all you need and a bit extra. The scents are nice, and they last while burning all the way down to the bottom of the candle. The various containers to pour into are very pretty too. And the wax was smooth and burned evenly. The instructions were clear, and the product was packed attractively.

Cute, but not much instructions to go off
This beginner kit had pretty much everything you need to get started except instructions. We just experimented and found what worked for us. I'd say in order for them to actually smell strong like candles you're used to, you need at least 8 ml of scent. You only really need one of the dye blocks no matter which candle you are using (comes with 2 of each color, but using two didnt really seem to make a difference so dont waste). And if you use the candle as a measuring cup, you need about two full scoops of the soy wax to fill each type of candle. We even used some of the leftovers for creating a tiny shot glass candle! Doesnt take too long to set, but don't forget to trim the wick properly before lighting!!! As I could see someone not thinking and causing a fire. The scents smell really good, though I don't quite care for the rose smell, shockingly, as that's one of my favorite scents! The jasmine scent is incredible smelling. Probably my favorite of the bunch. I love the dried flowers, as well! Overall, I'm still convinced I got the best kit out there. Kinda wish they had a beeswax version as that's what I was looking for, but this was the best rated brand and I can see why. The dye colors, so far I love the colors, but the purple as you can probably tell from my pic, is Barney the dinosaur purple, so definitely going for violet next time I make one!

It has everything you need to get started and produce your own beautiful product. I did buy a set of oils that were more complex for scenting. Follow the simple directions and voila…. Can’t wait to burn the first two. I also had another brand of wax beads that I used for the white candle.
This is a very high quality set and it melts the wax quickly. The thermometer is also great! I also used my own container for one of them. I’ll report back on the scents once I burn them.

I highly recommend this product! My husband and I wanted to make candles for valentines and it is so amazing! Super easy to make we used a large pot with some water at the bottom then hooked the handle onto the pot. The instructions are super easy! Incredible price! We have used it a few nights now. The scents are good. A couple might not smell the best but a few of them are amazing. We love it a lot! Have a fun date night!

For a cheap starter kit this is great 7 candles with fabulous smells. The wicks are too small for the metal containers causing in even burn. The sent throw is on the weaker side so you might got a subtle smell in a bathroom or smaller room. So I wouldn’t give the candles as a gift to someone but again if just starting out it’s got great instructions and the wax melter makes for good single pours. The quality of the items that are reusable is great the jars are beautiful. The tins are pretty standard. The labels are good. Again only issue is the burn of the candles in the tin containers.
Makes nice decorative candles but don’t hope to burn them.

See photo. These are not big tins as described. Compared to a big tin, the black one is the one that you get. It’s more like a ( tea candle ) on steroids. These size candles burn for 2 hrs and then done. Something you would find at the dollar store. Poor quality tinsMichael W.Not as described.
