This skirt is very cute and I love the color. I always love a skirt with pockets although they are a bit difficult to locate. The waistband is wide and folds over on itself, which isn't very flattering when it happens- in hindsight, I wonder if ordering up a size would prevent this from happening? The skirt is lightweight but not sheer. I would consider getting a body suit to wear underneath so the top doesn't bunch under the waist. I like the skirt enough to keep it but if we are being honest, I am not sure how much use it will get. Overall, I deducted 2 stars because I feel there are better (nearly identical) options out there.

    The skirt fits in the waist, but its length isn't mid-calf as I'd hoped from looking at the photos, and is a maxi on me. I also didn't realize it was such a thin fabric. That makes it great for summer, but might be too light for chillier temps. The ruffles are larger and more noticeable than the photo showed, which makes the skirt more casual than I had in mind, so inspect the photo well to be sure it's just what you want.
