    Unfortunately, these brushes are far too small for my purposes - maintaining my leather safety boots and shoes. Not only is the handle quite small (even for my average to small woman's hands) but the bristles (the horse hairs that make up the brush portion of the product) are very short as well. These characteristics render the brush unusable for me - even for cleaning my leather footwear.

    I cannot speak to the quality of the product other than to say a few hairs had come loose or had "shed" when I examined ea. of the brushes. I do not know whether this is normal. At this juncture, I know too little about horse hair brushes to make that judgement.

    Amazon's return process is very simple. In just a few minutes I had my (free) UPS Ground shipping label and the return authorization bar code printed. I'll drop the brushes off @ a UPS location (in the package they arrived in) and move forward in my search for the brushes I need.
