    I had to ease this up from the skinnier part of the Starbucks 24 oz tumbler. At one point, I thought this would only fit a 16.9oz bottle of water. That's just how small it is.     I have a few Hydro flasks and Takeya bottles that do not have anything to hold them with. You end up juggling them or putting them in your backpack making heavier than you wanted. This allows me to grab the handle and carry it around no matter what I am doing. I like this one as it is small in the sense that it's comfortable in your hand. Just ordered the other ones that the strap is flat seeing it those will be just as good. I don't have any 40 oz bottles but know on my 16 oz, it took a short time to get it on, just need to be persistent and it goes on fine.
