2 . As the charging effect of the solar panel is depended on the sunlight, the LED light time is affected by weather, seasons, places, etc.

3 . Fully charged the solar panel under sunlight for 12 hours at the first time use.

    I set these 4 solar lamps in the sun all day to fully charge, and by night they did in fact look like flickering lights, as candles, or kerosene lamps. I did notice before turning switch on, there are three settings (OFF, FLAME & ON). If you want the flame effect, the switch must be the middle setting, which I have done, and they look great.

The only thing I would change is to make the light slightly more orange. They blend well with my other solar flame lights but if the color was a little darker they would be perfect.
