Came back from camping, there it was on my porch. Its a heavy gage one-piece drum. Caps are solid and have fine and wide threads to keep them in the right hole. I filled mine up outside. Washed it out first. Took care of the plastic smell. You can see the level by looking down a hole with light. Easy to see. Ill fill it and check it periodically. Totally confident in this pirxhase and product. Very well-built. A noce addition to the water heater tank and tub bladders.
