    Seem durable and bright enough for my needs
    The only thing I didn’t like is that the light bulbs are closer to 4 feet from each other as opposed to the 3 feet advertised. I needed them for a party right away, so used them and did not returned. Make sure you take that into consideration before buying because the light is not very bright and you might need more bulbs per footage. In the picture you might not see it, but I put the bulbs I bit closer to each other, so they cover about 30 feet instead of the 48 I really wanted. I have them at 32” (inches) apart.

      The light string contains proprietary 1 Watt bulbs with plastic globes. The bulbs are decently bright. I bought the 96 Ft string to light my attic, and all the bulbs worked fine. 2 extra bulbs were included. The more careful you are unwrapping the bulbs, the easier it will be. Hint, if you get a tangle, (and you will) work to expand the middle of the knot, removing tangles from there. Remember they were not tangled when placed in the box. The design of the bulbs makes it so you pretty much cannot pull the string through an area without the bulbs getting hung up on stuff. If you are hanging on a wire, it will be pretty easy, but if you are trying to pull the string through an attic, not so much. Consider ordering multiple shorter strings. The string uses a standard 2 prong polarized US style 120V plug. The plug contains a fuse for safety. The end of the string has an outlet allowing you to connect multiple strings in series. (up to 500 watts total is what they say.) Hanging hardware is included, but it is far short of enough to hang the entire string. I cannot say how long the bulbs will last at this point, but my usage is very low since it is for the attic. An email contact is included to allow you to call for assistance. They appear to be ready to help if anything comes up.
