Before I did I wanted to make sure I got the sole as clean and new as possible, here is when this product came to play. I ordered from Amazon, followed the directions and WOW! These sponges work great. I attached photos that show the left shoe compared to right shoe once I used this product, so judge for yourself.

As some reviewers have mentioned, these little sponges aren’t particularly durable, but they are some form of arcane magic.

I’ve used the sneaker erasers on a few different pairs of high end shoes that’d gotten a bit dirty, and they literally erased any and all scuffs from the rubber soles. It’s like magic, but you dip the sponge in water and use the white side to erase, and it really does do what it’s advertised to.

That being said, these little guys aren’t really reusable - it’s mostly a one and done sort of thing, so expect to go through these quick if you have some older shoes/shoes in need of an intensive scrub. They really are worth it if you have higher end shoes ($1 per sponge to restore $400 shoes to brand new condition), but I’m not sure if I’d spend the money on these for cheaper pairs (why spend $11 on cleaner for $50 converse?).

Overall, anyone with a high-end shoe collection should keep a few of these guys on deck, they’re definitely worth the price to restore solid kicks back to fresh-out-of-the-box condition.

Just used on the rubber of 3 different pair of shoes. Removed almost all smudges and scuffs. The white sponge side deteriorated quickly during the last pair, but it’s good to know you can clean up to 3 pair per sponge! Easy to use and with 10 sponges per package, they’re a good value!

But these have saved my expensive golf shoes from red Georgia clay, my white Stan Smiths from bar gunk after a night out, and my Cole Haans from who knows what at the airport. I’m buying these in bulk now!
