I’m a bit surprised that there aren’t a lot of YouTube videos on this particular product. Yes there is one by the owner and now they’ve been purchased by Oatey. But this is a code approved way to attach your toilet to the floor if you have unusual situations. I suggest if you buy this, find the YouTube from the owner and watch it, there’s a couple DIY guys that have put out videos, but I personally don’t think they did it correctly. This adapter will work in any situation and I wish I knew about it 15 years ago.
Anybody who has set a lot of toilets knows that when you pull the toilet off, it’s unfortunately usually a surprise. And I bought a couple of these for when those situations arise. This is a great product, quality parts all the way around, even the six screws that are included are all stainless steel. Like I said if you’ve got an unusual situation, or a floor that wasn’t set right, then give this a shot. I think you will be satisfied.
