I got the striped one and it’s cute, but it’s not as…everything… as I expected. It’s shown on the size 0 model is being super-oversized. It fits more like a regular sweater, not as long as I expected or as oversized. I could size up 3 sizes to get the look but the sleeves are already too long. The fabric is nice but not as heavy as I expected for the $50

    When this sweater first arrived I was totally surprised. While I wouldn’t have purchased it if the description & photo hadn’t appealed to me, reality and expectations aren’t always the same. In this case reality far exceeded! This sweater is substantial but not bulky. It has a soft drapey feel due to its viscose/nylon fabrication. The sleeves are nicely finished so they can be “jugged up”, folded, or just left down. I like the oversized look and typically wear a L or XL, so I got an XL & it’s just right. I would never wear this sweater as a dress, but then I’m a 60’s girl so I’m long past those days. If I wasn’t, & felt the look was right for me, I would! I have several sweaters by another manufacturer (not FP) that look very similar to this one but are a cashmere blend, and even given the difference in fabric, I now have a difficult time justifying its almost $200 price tag when this sweater is available. The palette of colors is dizzying, so one could never run out of ideas. As far as washing, I would never put a sweater in the machine; only hand wash in cold water & either lay out or hang (depends on circumstances) to dry. This really is an exquisite sweater, & offered at such a bargain price, one can hardly go wrong in trying it out. Maybe you’ll be as surprised as I was!

    Update - I have received 2 more of these sweaters since the first one; apricot & black. They are every bit as beautiful as the first one. Apricot is really an ecru which is what I wanted, and black is, well it’s black. They measure & fit just right, & no issues with torn seams, loose threads, bad odors, or any other plagues. Granted I have yet to wash them, & I expect doing so will be the true test of their potential longevity. That said, at least I haven’t paid $200/each for them! Nevertheless I really love them and would like to enjoy wearing them for a good long while so I might just break down and use the dry cleaners. I’ll have to see how brave I’m feeling when the time comes.

    This sweater is a great Free People dupe! I purchased both this and the FP one and they are so incredibly similar. Obviously this one you get way more bang for your buck. I love the structure of the low profile collar. The sleeves are a little on the shorter size but it gives almost a sophisticated look that way. If you size up, the sweater feels like it only gets boxier, not really longer. It’s very comfortable and looks high-end!

    I rarely spend $40 for a sweater on line, I usually shop on sites like Zulily where I can get sweaters for$15-25 but I am so happy I splurged a little. This is the nicest winter sweater I've ever had. It's of a great material that skims over your body. The neckline is fabulous, kind of a turtleneck but doesn't cling to your neck and actually creates a frame for your face. I ordered in a white but it is definitely a cream color. The length is upper, just to the top of mid thigh, perfect for leggings. The only caution I give is it fits a little large. For me this is great as I love huge, slouchy sweaters but be aware it does fit large. I'm 190 5'7" and got the XL. I could easily have gone with a L. I'll come back to update after I wash it.

    I purchased a few of these in various colours (khaki, apricot, navy, hunter green and pink). They take about a month+ to come in (I live in East Coast of Canada for reference). I had to send back two of the sweaters as they were not as advertised. What I received were actual turtleneck sweaters, fabric was different and they were HUGE.

    The others were as advertised and I love them. They are an exact copy of the Free People ottoman tunic, but if you are ordering, you are taking a risk that what you are sent may not be the sweater that is advertised. Not sure if this is a warehouse issue or what. Overall I’m very happy with it!

The shape is weird - body is super wide and long and the sleeves are narrow, not a "batwing" style. Edges are not finished, neckline is strange.
