This isn’t one of our functional school backpacks for our kids, but it’s absolutely adorable and comfortable for my five year old to wear on adventures to the park and playground. I’m not sure if I would use this for school, it seems a little small to fit the various plastic poly folders that our school system requires for kindergarten without bending them.

Depending on what your school system requires that the kids bring back and forth with them everyday, this may suit your needs. We use it for weekend use, and it’s fantastic and a great way for my son to feel independent and bring along some knickknacks and I can put a change of clothes in there for him. It holds his water bottle securely, which is great that I don’t have to carry it.
The padding on the back is very thick and comfortable, but also breathable.
I love the shark design. We don’t use the leash option, but I don’t judge parents that do.
I’ll definitely order more of these bags in other prints. I’m a foster mom, so it’s always great to have a small variety of fun bags for the kids to pick from as their “adventure bag” for trips to the zoo, playground, and other kid-friendly places.
The price is totally worth it, even just for the cute print. The shoulders and back are very comfortable, and I think the price-point is perfect for the quality of the bag.

I ordered the dinosaur style & it arrived covered in what appeared to be either dirt or mold. Disappointed. I ended up going with a different style since I see so many positive reviews about this backpack and I did really like the size & pocket options. Hopefully this next one arrives clean!

I was so excited to see a cute toddler-friendly bag that I requested it immediately. This is what I’ve been looking for and too many companies build backpacks without the front chest strap. Why does that matter? Well for one… my kid will take the backpack off and two seconds later come to me to request I put it back on… so this will add some time between taking it off… for two, it will allow him to continue to get comfortable with the clip method to figure out how to unclip and clip it.
It has one interior pocket (see photos) and two side pockets for water bottles, snacks, etc. it has one exterior pocket (for the purpose) and one pocket that allows you to transition this backpack into a leash backpack. Which.. my kid is not a leash kid.. but some children are, which makes this a wonderful addition at no extra charge. For us, we’ll likely remove the leash altogether (it’s a clip on) and we can use it for some smaller things or a GPS tag pocket and sew it up if need be.. though we’re not there yet.. the option is nice.
Overall the bag feels durable enough for my toddler and isn’t too heavy or restricting. It is a bit more gray/green than pictured (like army green?) and the dinosaur graphic is cute and my son loves the look. Would recommend 10/10!
