This latest Fire Tablet was an upgrade from a previous purchase. When I bought my tablet in 2013 It was all I needed. I was able to read books in the dark, search the web, and watch youtube. It did everything I wanted.
After 12 years it was time to upgrade, everything still worked, but it seemed slow and some of the apps were not updating.
I really like the trade in program with Amazon. Instead of having another unused item laying around the house. The trade in was so easy. I choose the option to take it to the U-break it store and they processed the trade right there.
Only one inconvenience the first time we went to the U-Break-it their computer system was down and they were unable to process the trade,. I went back the next day and everything was taken care of in about three minutes.
The tablet has a very clear screen, though not up to the standards of higher priced tablets, still good enough quality to not leave you wanting.
The processor is very quick, no more buffering for it to access, and streaming is seamless. This is now the third tablet I have purchased, my daughter also has one, and I highly recommend it for those that need a good quality tablet. If you are needing something for drawing or dead on accurate colors, then you will have to go more expensive, but for most needs this tablet fits the bill.
