    I saw the original Free People dress in the store and loved it! Looked up a dupe on Amazon, and here it is!!! So here’s the scoop:
    The description says this dress is polyester, which the FP dress isn’t, so I took a risk and ordered it anyway hoping that was inaccurate. It was! This dress is COTTON gauze just like the FP dress. The whole dress is a double layer, so it feels substantial and not flimsy at all. I love that the bodice is thick enough that it can be worn without a bra!
    The main difference is the fullness of the skirt. This dupe dress is not nearly as full as the original FP dress, so if you’re doing a romantic photo shoot and need the long, flowy skirt, go with FP. If you’re doing family photos or just want a cute dress for spring, this one is GREAT!
    The flowers are actual embroidery, not painted (which is where the 2% polyester content comes in), the elastic shirring is solid and supportive (I have G-cups and felt very comfortable with no bra when I tried this on).
    This dress is NOT maxi length. I am 5’4”, and the hemline was mid-calf on me. Call me old-fashioned, but I believe a maxi dress should come to the ankles at the shortest ;) I would NOT advise putting this dress in the dryer, or you risk it getting shorter.
    I ended up returning this because it reeked of perfume, and the stitching that held the top piece of elastic was unraveled in multiple places as if someone had worn it for too long or at least tried it on wishing they could fit into a L when they really should have ordered an XL.
    If you’re trying on clothes at home, please do it BEFORE dowsing yourself in perfume. Some of us are allergic to fragrances. I could barely keep it on long enough to try it on.
    I wear an 8-10 and ordered this in a Large. It fit perfectly.
    The sleeves are VERY puffy. I haven’t decided if I’ll re-order for that reason alone. It’s so pretty on the models and on small-boobed women, but I felt more frumpy-Froofy than cute! I purchased this dress to wear for our family photos in Jackson Hole over the summer and I paired it with white/red Adidas sneakers for the most comfortable, colorful and happy outfit! The bodice is super stretchy despite looking small when you first open it, and the fabric weight is nice and light. I love the embroidered flowers so much, and my only complaint is that there was a small pull in the bodice embroidery, but it wasn't very noticeable because the dress has a worn-in boho vibe anyhow.     Thos dress is so cheap and made my skin feel the same way it does when you work with fiberglass. My arms and back were irritated for about 2 hours after trying this dress on for just a couple of minutes. There's also no front or back or tag at all and is made the same on both sides. The pockets are misshapen my hands can't even go all the way in. I make my own clothes a lot, but not so m7ch since I gained a lot of extra weight for unknown reasons. I wanted a quick pretty dress that I didn't have to worry about the sizing on bc of it's stretch. I'm barely plus sized and the xl barely fit over my 38 Ds. What upset me the most is honestly my reaction to either the cheap fabric or cheap dye making my arms break out and feel irritated. That could seriously hurt someone with a skin disorder or mality. Irresponsible and WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! I've ordered better clothes from shien and temu. Will be returning and they better not give me any trouble.
