The only con is that the heat dial, being on the handle, may get easily switched (changing the heat setting or turning it off) while blow drying your hair.

I Had a Revlon brush similar to this one that started to smell burnt after 4 years, I did some research and read that this brush was better than the Revlon one and it really is. The Revlon is not bad, but I think this one is lighterwheght and the final result of the blow out is less frizzy and shinier. Worth paying a little more in my opinion.

It makes sense this is great since Drybar is such a popular hair dry salon! This has a comfortable grip and very very lightweight. I have carpal tunnel and this does not hurt it at all ..,

I think this brush is ok compared to the other major name brand one that’s out there. This one is better for your hair because it doesn’t get as hot but I don’t think it smooths my hair as much. I always feel like I need to touch it up with a flat iron because it’s still somewhat frizzy when done drying.

Other brushes are very heavy, and it can take a toll on your arms. 2nd I have really thick hair, I Thought maybe it will leave my hair puffy and frizzy it left it smooth! I have fine, long, curly hair and bought it to create that big blow out look of smoothed bouncy curls. I used it exclusively for seven months without changing diet or styling products and noticed the health of my hair deteriorate in that time. Even using Kendra's Heat Protecting Spray, it dried it out and brought on split ends. Unfortunately I went past the Amazon return window so I was out the money of the brush and additional money for professional strengthening/repairing masks. If your hair is like mine, skip it.

Pros:
Adds volume.

Cons:
-Takes forever to dry towel dried hair (at medium speed and medium heat appropriate for fine hair to avoid hair loss, breakage, static), gets hot, and causes a lot of damage in the process. Note: The high heat is blistering hot.
-Hair is not left feeling silky or smooth
-You basically need to blow dry separately first then go back over with this to minimize damage, so it doesn't actually eliminate other tools

The only way I can see this tool working is if you have thick hair that can hold a silicone-based heat protective serum

I absolutely love this brush. I have very thick coloured treated shoulder length hair and generally use my Dyson Air Wrap to dry and style it but I still have to use my straighteners to smooth it down. With the Drybar brush I can just dry it off lightly with my hair drying tool and then finish drying and styling in one go, without the need for straighteners, which in turn has improved the texture of my hair. It smooths your hair and makes it shine but also gives it body and bounce if required. In fact, this is the best condition my hair has been in for a long time. If you have the time and the patience you should use it directly on wet hair without any pre drying as the size of the brush enables you to dry your hair very quickly. I would definitely recommend this product.

I purchased this item and it arrived in August. When I tried to use it for the first time it started to spark so I unplugged it immediately. I returned the product. Sadly I am still waiting for a refund. To add insult to injury for an expensive product I had to pay the return postage as the seller did not provide a label. So in addition to getting a faulty product I am also out of pocket for the expense of returning it. Not happy with the supplier who has failed to reply to any comments.
