I have used this wax paper for years and although parchment paper is now easier to find, wax paper is irreplaceable.
Pros: Great for all sorts of uses. For homemade Divinity candy dropped by the spoon, this wax paper will absolutely prevent sticking to paper, once cooled. Great to stack between layers of fudge, brownies and cookies. Will absolutely prevent sticking. Years ago, my Mom used to cut it into cake pan circles and grease it so that tender homemade cakes could be easily removed from the pan. Thick enough to be durable, the tear strip makes it easy to use.
Cons: Not airtight like plastic wrap, though at one time, sandwiches were wrapped in it. Can be hard to find, sometimes listed as obsolete! Thankfully, found on Amazon at a great price!
