I bought these for my wife - she had been carrying/gripping 1lb barbells when she walked - to give her more options while walking and exercising. She really likes them and uses them every day. They are quick to attach - they have a wide elastic strap with big patches of velcro and they stay put on her wrists and don't slide down even when she swings her arms. The covering on the actual weights are a soft-feel silicone. Also note that individual weights can be easily removed in the full 1lb is too heavy. The straps a stretch enough that these can also be worn outside the sleeves on your coat if you want. If you are looking at (much) pricier similar wrist weights for walking or other exercises or classes, consider these first.
