From the first time I used it, my hair felt softer and smoother, even while it was still wet. Once I dried it, I noticed less frizz and more shine. Not greasy shine, but that healthy, glossy look I hadn’t seen in years. It also made my hair feel stronger and easier to comb through, which is huge since my fine hair usually turns into a tangle-fest after a shower. I use it maybe 2–3 times a week, just depending on how my hair feels. I leave it on while I shave my legs or clean the bathroom sink—nothing fancy or complicated. The smell is light and kind of salon-fresh, and the texture is thick and creamy. A little goes a long way, so even though it’s not cheap, it lasts a while. One thing I love is that it smooths my hair without weighing it down. I’ve had smoothing products in the past that left my hair flat and oily the next day. This one doesn’t do that. I still get a little volume, and it holds a style better because my hair isn’t all dried out. I really wish I had found this stuff sooner. My hair feels softer, looks shinier, and actually behaves for once. I still have frizz here and there (thanks humidity), but way less than before. I have dry, frizzy hair and I'm really satisfied with this mask. I highly recommend it for damaged hair. After shampooing, I applied this mask and left it on for about 10 minutes. I have really enjoyed using Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Mask because it smells so good and leaves my hair feeling amazing. It is something that I would not recommend using every day or every other day but rather once a week because it does weigh down my hair more than I would like but it leaves my hair feeling and looking so much better. I love the fact that this product is not tested on animals, deeply nourishes, and smooths my hair way better than other products I have tried. I am currently working on regrowing and restoring my hair because by the top part it's so frizzy usually no matter what I do but after using this mask for a few weeks its almost eliminated all the frizz! Oh, and did I mention the shine it has brought to my hair?! It looks like I have been washing my hair with rice water the shine is so good! I love it! This Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Hair Mask is awesome. The texture is creamy and thick which is exactly what I'm looking for in a hair mask. The Wella Ultimate Smooth Mask was easy to apply to my curly, frizzy hair. I simply wet my hair prior to showering then left the mask on for 10-15 minutes then rinsed it out when I got in the shower. My hair needed a refresh just in time for summer. One of my favorite features of this is that it is so low maintenance. It does not have to be used everyday. I used it twice a week and noticed a difference after the first treatment. My hair had less frizz, more defined curls and was easier to maintain. Frizz causes so many knots in my hair so applying this once or twice a week will help minimize that frizz and knots. One complaint I do have is I felt it was overly scented. The scent didn't smell bad but it was powerful.
