    It’s ok but has some cons.
    First off I’ll say this it makes mini “cube” ice and not round and crunch like Sonic. So if you’re really peculiar about your sonic ice then this isn’t it. The machine is louder than my dishwasher. You can see in the video I had to walk away about 30 ft and you can still hear it. I’m fortunate to have a big house but some other may not be so lucky. So just a heads up it’s louder than a dishwasher. Also, you have to baby the heck out of this thing to get it to fill up the container with ice. It stops running when the ice gets piled up from the dispenser. The hole is so small that it backs up and all sits in one long pile. You have to keep moving the ice to get it to fill up. It’s annoying. Also you have to continually add water to the bucket to get enough ice to fill it up. Looks like it also needs to be cleaned pretty regularly to keep from making the ice taste bad. Make sure you have a lot of counter space height. It’s pretty tall but luckily my cabinets are a bit higher than normal.

      Ice maker works great! Have been using it for almost a year with no problems. I have a full basket of ice within half an hour of turning it on.
      I normally handwash the ice basket, but last week decided to put it in the dishwasher. Don’t do that! It warped. I contacted customer service to see if I could get a new basket, and they happily are sending a new one at no charge. Gloria, the customer service rep, has been prompt and cheerful in helping me fix my mistake. Great product! Great service!

      Purchased July 2024, worked great. Most reviews said it was loud, not gonna lie, it’s noisy, so I placed it in my pantry and all was well, even though I could still hear it. It got louder and louder until all I got was an extremely loud buzzing sound, louder than my smoke alarm. Afraid it would catch fire, ( outside was extremely hot to touch) I unplugged it and haven’t used it since. I’ve contacted the company for a replacement, left a message. They returned my call within 5 minutes, texted me instructions to clean the ice maker with vinegar and purified water x3. Will update after this is done. Update: I cleaned the ice maker as instructed, it got worse and stopped making ice. I sent a video to the company showing the water in the reservoir and the machine on and all it would do was squealing noises. They texted me back and asked if I wanted a replacement, I had it within 3 days. Great customer service!
      Update: I followed the cleaning instructions, and the ice maker is working like a boss. Would upgrade to 4 stars if I could. Customer service was great.

      Omg! Best purchase ever. If you like little soft ice. We had an under the counter ice machine that ruined two sets of hardwood floors bc of leaks. This little bad boy sits on the counter and you add the water. We paid over $1500 for the under the counter and this one was under $150.00. Very happy.

      Love this nugget ice maker! We've had it since January and it works great! The ice is a soft crunchy ice in a tiny cube shape. We only use distilled water. Ours is making ice constantly all day (my daughter is addicted to it and we use it in our drinks). The only downside is like others have said, it is loud at times but you get used to it and we don't even pay attention to it anymore. Definitely love it!!

      I would give this zero stars if I could do not buy this icemaker. I purchased last year and it didn’t even last a year. I emailed the company about the issue and then spent two weeks going back-and-forth with them. They kept asking if I cleaned it, etc., if I checked if it was plugged up if the red light was coming on and then by the time, they actually said they would give me a new machine. My warranty was expired according to them if you’re gonna pay over $100 for a icemaker it should last more than a year. Do not buy this icemaker!!!!!

      I bought this ice machine, not knowing what to expect. Our ice maker on our fridge went out. So I was buying sonic ice. But I had seen these that make crushed ice. And thought I would like to try one. But they were very expensive. But then I seen this one with $50.00 off and decided to try it. It's great. It will pay for it's self in a few months, of not buying ice from sonic.it makes a good amount of ice each day. And it only took about 5 mins to start making ice the 1st time. It has a signal that lets you know when to add water and when its full of ice.It's very easy to operate and it makes good ice. It's a bit noisy sometimes. But nothing to loud. It fits on top of my counter perfectly. It's a good little machine and worth the money. And I don't give a lot of good reviews. Thumbs up!
      Updated 01/19/25 my ice machine went completely out. I cleaned it again thinking this would fix it. But it did not. So in the pamphlet that came with the machine, was a phone number. I called customer service and the things I had to do. 1st take a video of it after showing the time. 2nd plug it in and 24 mins later take more video of the machine, had to video the front of machine then show the water inside the machine, then put my hand by the fan on the side of it and say if it was blowing hot cold or no air. Then video the back of machine. So I did everything I was ask to do. The next day I got a text asking me for the order # again. I sent a text back with the # but I ask how long the process took to receive a new unit ? I was told 3 to 4 business days to go over my warranty options and then they will let me know something. I jump through hoops to get all this info to them. And I still don't know if they are going to replace the machine . I have not even had this machine for a year. So I'm not so sure about this being a great deal after all.
