We hung these on our little deck and they are perfect! Exactly what I was hoping for. The bulbs are on the smaller side, but perfect for this kind of thing, but I would check the dimensions if you were looking for a larger golf ball sized bulb or bigger. So far they are working nicely and we hung them using screw in hooks with a clip that holds them on so they cannot slip off no matter what (also from amazon) I love the ambiance they create they are just as bright as I would want them to be.
