- Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2022My 8 yr old grandson asked for some National Geographic "Weird But True" books he enjoyed at the library, so I bought a few & the 10 book set for his home library. I just thought I would throw in this "Weird But Gross" book in, well wouldn't you know it...it's his favorite one & he shares it with all his fiends & cousins...to gross them out.
It's perfect for any kid to enjoy & share with everyone....OMG, who doesn't want to know facts about Snot, Phlegm, and Boogers!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2024My 10-year-old Grandson loved this book and immediately started reading after receiving it. Like most boys this age, he enjoys weird and sometimes gross facts. If possible, he would have rated this book "10" on a 5-point scale.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2016The book is great, very interesting and of course having a 6year old boy he LOVES hearing about any and all things gross. My only issue with this book was the texture of the cover, i personally hate it its rough and it gives me chills but definitely a good buy!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2024Gift for kids. They loved it!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2021I bought this book for my nephew, and while I haven’t given it to him yet, I think he’s going to love it. It’s pretty simply written - he’s about to be 8, so second or third grade, but he reads on a fourth or fifth grade level, so it shouldn’t be a problem. My mom, who was an elementary school teacher for 30+ years, says that vocabulary wise it’s probably at least a third grade level, but writing wise it’s closer to a second grade level (simple sentences, bigger words). Either way, I think it’s a great book for kids in third-ish grade, especially those who are interested in gross things
