I bought this detergent to try with the Dirty Labs booster. I have an aging septic system and live rurally so I can't use "normal" laundry detergents.I have the unscented one since my family has sensitive skin and we've found that some members of my family have had skin rashes since switching.The detergent itself works well with the booster on biological stains. Dish towels, reusable cleaning cloths, pet bedding have all been great. It has also worked great on my gym clothes.It definitely takes some retraining of your brain that such a teeny tiny dose cleans! If you look on the back of other eco friendly detergents water is the first ingredient so you are paying for more water! This is a concentrated product but even so it is a low number of washes per container.We wash big loads to make better use of the well water on our property and be more economical with energy use. Most of our clothes are line dried unless it's winter then we tumble dry.I love the silicone measuring cup, after pouring the detergent into the machine, I toss the measuring cup in the washer too so I get all the dose into the wash. It is a bit hard to see the dosing lines on the cup of you have low lighting in your laundry room.I do love that the container is small and easily recycled (it's aluminium), but I'm not sure how to recycle the silicone measuring cup.It is more expensive for a small number of laundry loads and the detergent itself has not been able to clean inorganic stains like mud/dirt, the detergent hasn't worked for soot or mineral based grease stains like sunscreen in my HE machine without extensive pre-treating with laundry soap hence 3 out of 5 stars.Would I buy it again? Possibly. I'm trying different brands to see if my family can find one that cleans and doesn't cause rash/irritation. If this came in a bigger size I would be tempted to make the switch.

    This laundry detergent was referred to me by a friend and I have a subscription now. I'm loving how clean it gets our clothes. I like the size and shape of the container that it comes in. I do however wish they as a subscription item that they would no longer send the rubber cap to measure the liquid in. I now have several. Although I have found another use for some of them i.e. they are just the right size of measuring how much to water my orchids. I don't need so many of them and yet hate to throw them away.

We don't generate a lot of stains so I can't speak to that, but it certainly removes any organic odors from people or pets. And I was fighting a lot of detergent buildup from my previous detergent, so our laundry went through a few washes with this before I got to the super softness I was hoping for. I don't use dryer sheets or fabric softeners - because why would you buy a detergent like this and then ruin your clean experience with chemicals? Once you get rid of your detergent buildup, your laundry will be super soft without needing any other products. This product is very expensive, but if you are fighting odors and have sensitive skin, it is worth it. My clothes have absolutely no scent when the laundry is done. And the bottle sucks - it drips like others have mentioned, plus you have no idea how much is left in the bottle. The measuring cup is terrible - if there are lines on there I can't see them in my basement laundry room.

    Amazing! I workout 5 days a week and wear the same pair 5 of leggings. They had a funky smell that regular detergent would just mask with fragrance. I even tried another brand made specifically for athletic clothing and nada. I bought the unscented version of dirty labs and threw them in the wash. I was shocked when I pulled them out and they had no scent whatsoever. It is expensive so I’ll primary use this for workout clothes. Yes, the detergent is thick but the cap is machine washable so I just throw it in with the laundry. So happy this product found me on Instagram!

    I agree this product does work fairly well, although it failed miserably to eliminate odors in sweaty clothing washed in cold water on a quick (45 min/modern HE washer) cycle. My biggest complaint is that there is absolutely a scent left in the clothing---very faint, smells like honeysuckle to my nose. Way better than the overwhelming perfume of commercial products, but in no way actually unscented. I also find the dispensing cap to be a pain as once dispensed, there is detergent left in the cup which must be rinsed out each time, unlike with a normal detergent cap, where the remains drain back into the bottle. Appreciate the recyclability, but as others have mentioned, the bottle was damaged in transit.

    Great fragrance free detergent but this is the worst packaging ever. the aluminum cap leaks all over and the silicone overcap is messy and makes the leaking worse. I have to spend 2 -3 minutes washing the thick liquid off the caps every time I use it. Rework the packaging please! it’s not worth the aggravation.

    Reading some of the reviews about it not getting out natural deodorant marks/stains. No issues here. We use a charcoal deodorant and it comes right out. Also, my husbands stinky hats don’t stink when they come out, Molly’s suds always left the stank behind a little. Great for our sweaty workout clothes and the real test was dog blankets and beds. Zero smell. Love it so far. No leak issues, I throw the silicone measuring cup in with the wash. It has enzymes unlike the ingredients in a lot of other natural detergents so that definitely helps with the cleaning factor. Hubby is allergic to essential oils and scents in products, he has no issues with the unscented version of this. This will be my forever non tox laundry detergent.
