I don't have this mounted yet so I apologize for the picture with my holding it up with the flag on it! This flag stand/pole is a nice metal rod with hook on one end and mount on the other for hanging a flag from a porch post or possibly a wall. The metal feels solid, like wrought iron, although it is not wrought iron. A standard garden flag fits nicely with a little space on either side. It comes with 2 plastic stops you can slide on to the pole to keep the flag from sliding/blowing off. The only negative I've noticed so far it that it came with 2 silver screws for mounting - wish they were black to match the mount portion of the pole. I will probably spray paint them before I hang it.
