For reference, I am an apple shaped lady, 42 DD, with an apron belly, around size 16 pants. Got the xl.This outfit is super soft! 2 separate pieces. Separate shorts are a bit short for my liking but the dress is cute. Wish the XXL was available, the xl wasn't as large in the chest as I'd like it to be.

    This is being used for outings to Disney in the summer. It is perfect for keeping cooler and being comfortable. Tennis is not the only sport it is good for.

    I ordered this in khaki XL. It was not vacuumed sealed but arrived in a very nice hinged box which was an excellent presentation and made the item look expensive and totally giftable/easy to giftwrap (and insert your own greeting card).

    It is not a khaki tan color that most would think of. Its more like a light muted mauve or a tanish concrete color. But that didn't bother me.

    I like that the boob pads are removable and that the dress has a racerback. Trying it on it feels super comfy like your favorite pair of yoga pants. It is a true dress as the shorts are separate and not built in. The only issue with the shorts is that there isn't a inside back tag so you can't tell the front from the back of the shorts so that you can put them on correctly. There is a tag in the inside side seam but non-US makers don't tend to alternate which side they put the side tag on so its confusing. So you can wear the shorts without the dress which is a bonus. All items have good stretch.

    Don't buy if you have a bit of a stomach as the side slit comes all the way up to the seam that separates the skirt portion from the bra/top. This tennis dress is really meant for small and/or skinny women with flat tummies.

    Despite such tis super comfy. I did not want to take it off after trying it on. Again, it is quite stretch and it is well stitched.

    The care tag is attached. The label says it's 80% nylon and 20% spandex.

    Even if I was skinnier, I would not order a gain because of the slit length on the dress, which is sad because this item is super comfy.

    I got this set for my wife who is pregnant and wanted something comfortable but cool to wear in the summer. This tennis dress is perfect for that. She says it's very soft and has a lot of stretch to it. She loves the natural color of the outfit and that the shorts are separate from the dress. She says there is a lot of support but it doesn't feel tight at all. She looks forward to wearing this throughout the summer.

    I love the color of this dress and it was great to wear around the house in summertime. However, evry lump and bump shoes and I wouldn't dare wear it out of the house. The material feels good and it's very comfortable. Overall the material quality is great but I think this dress is more for people who work out everyday and don't have any bulges or bumps.

    I'll be honest, I got this thinking mostly of the shorts. I love summer and I love wearing dresses but my thighs are thick and will disagree with pairing both things together. I've also been walking around with my kid and dislike having to take my purse just to hold my phone/keys and wallet.
    The dress is of a great quality, I wore it without a bra and none of the ladies escaped or peeked out in attention., they stayed snug and comfortably uncrushed the whole type. The dress itself never moved and stayed in place. No amount of movement made it pile up in my waist.
    Now the shorts.. they are just plain awesome. They fit snug, but not enough to cause my skin to dip, I was able to wear a tight dress over them without lines showing up. They also did not roll upward. no yanking them down every 5 minutes because they were trying to transform themselves into underwear. And the pockets.. ladies! deep deep pockets, I fit my phone, wallet and keys without them bulging awkwardly, and now I can go around hands free.
    Love it, and would get again without thinking twice.

    Im always worried with online shopping, i have a fairly large chest and most tops/ dresses dont fit me. This dress actually fit! My bra straps do show a bit however its not something i care about. The blue is a lovely muted navy blue that is extremely soft! ( my picture makes it look lighter than it actually is). Id also LOVED the bra inserts were removable. I absolutely hate bra inserts.

    The slit does show the shorts and for me, a small bit of skin. The shorts are long enough i dont get any chafing and they have pockets! . Its wonderful for the summer. I could walk, do activities and still look cute!

    If youve bought from Halara before, id compare the quality, feel and style to their active dresses.

    Where it lost a star for me: the waist band on the shorts do slip down . Which is fairly annoying. However this could also be due to sizing. Which is my second reason i couldnt give it 5 stars. Yes im a larger woman but really not by much. There should be more inclusivity.

    Fabric is very soft and breathable, I really like women's tennis dresses for this reason. I also like the style, as it is very modern and simple, but stylish. These have separate shorts and a built-in bra racerback have become increasingly popular for sports, especially golf and tennis, due to their combination of comfort, style, and functionality.

    Other reasons that I enjoy this dress:

    Adequate stitching: No loose ends and threads, seams are good, though some stitching is quite.....imperfect but at least its not visible

    Breathability: The athletic fabrics used in the dress are designed to wick away moisture, keeping me cool and dry when outdoors. The blue color doesn't seem to absorb sweat and show a sweat mark lol

    Range of Motion: The racerback style provides excellent freedom of movement for your arms, allowing for a full body movement without restriction. The fabric is nice and stretchy.

    Chafe Prevention: The built-in shorts eliminate the need for additional layers, reducing the risk of chafing and discomfort. Material and breathability is excellent.

    Flattering Fit: This dress flatter the female figure while providing coverage.  Nice cleavage.

    Versatile: I can wear the same outfit for tennis, golf, or other athletic activities. As well for daily outings, even a casual date this is perfect.

    Built-in Bra: Provides support and eliminates the need for an additional bra. I hate layering with a sports bra.

    Pockets: Yup, its got them!

    Overall, this dress that has built in separate shorts and a bra racerback offer a comfortable, stylish, and practical option for ladies wear, versatile in many ways. They combine the best features of traditional golf attire with the modern athletic aesthetic.

    This tennis/athleisure dress is super cute and comes with a set of matching shorts to wear comfortably without worrying about any unfortunate exposure. The dress is nicely finished and fits about true to the size guide. It has some good stretch, and it washes well. The shorts fit well too, and do have pockets, which is nice. My one complaint about either is that they're a bit short. The dress is just a tiny bit shorter than I'd ultimately like, though I have a long torso, so this isn't unusual for me. The shorts are also just a bit shorter in the inseam than I'd like. They work for coverage of course, but are less effective for thigh chafing, if that's a concern for you. If they were both just a little bit (like an inch or two) longer, that would be ideal for me. But that may well be a me-only issue.

    These are comfortable and form fitting. The material is durable, and the shorts are grippy and stretchy like yoga shorts. The style is modern and makes you feel like you are prancing around in the baby suit, but keeps you well within civilized etiquette. It has tight a pocket for the phone and/or other stuff. These are deep enough that you can rest assured stuff won’t fall off. Overall, an above average offering.
