    This camera is oh so adorable! The buttons are easy to use for kids. It seems very durable, like it can be dropped a few times and still work fine (not recommended). Those are all the pros. The only con is that the photo quality is lacking, severely. I could just give my daughter my 2010 Razr phone and it would be the same quality photos.

      If you ever want to know how your youngster views the world, get them one of these cameras.

      My youngest grandson is 4 1/2 yo, but he somehow not only knew what this was, but he was ready to start taking pictures before I read the first page of the instructions. I am forever amazed at how well children intuitively know how to use almost any 'device'. Since it was already partially charged when it arrived, all I had to do was install the SD card, show him how to change the front/rear camera view and he was off to capture the world through a viewfinder. He somehow figured out how to activate the video feature without my input.

      This camera is the perfect size for young hands with easy to operate controls and buttons. He took to this camera like a fish takes to water.

      40MP picture quality is amazing (my first digital camera had a whopping 7MP and I thought that was amazing) and it also has HD quality video. The tripod 'handle' is also a nice addition and allows for some pretty stable selfie pictures. The aiyMsx Kids Selfie Camera comes with a micro SD card and reader so you can download the pictures to your laptop or take the card to a photo printer and make hard copies. Once you download the SD card, you can zero it out and let the good times roll, never missing a shot.

      The rechargeable on board battery charges quickly and he hasn't managed to run it out of power, even after taking pictures for a pretty good while. When we were at the ballgame the other night I was amazed to see him standing at the fence, poking the lens through the chain links and actually videoing his older brothers turn at bat.

      I love that my grandson loves this camera, and the fact that is is HIS camera makes it all the more enjoyable. The older boys have their phones, so they don't need a camera like this one, but he's in a world of his own, snapping pictures and making videos. His pictures also reveal what he deems important in his world.

      I received notice of this camera from one of the "recommended for you" suggestions from Amazon and honestly, this is the best $36 I've spent on a present for him.

      He loves it and that has made me happy.

      Our recent purchase was an exciting kid-friendly digital camera, tailored to make young photography enthusiasts smile. It's been a joyful addition to our family's gadget collection, albeit with a few minor drawbacks.

      Pros:

      The layout and size of the camera fit comfortably in little hands, with easy-to-press, sizeable buttons that make navigation a breeze for youngsters.

      The rechargeable battery can support 1-2 hours of continuous photo-taking, while the 32GB SD Card provides ample space for those endless snapshots.

      Cons:

      The price tag is a bit steep.
      Despite the high-resolution spec, the quality of the pictures isn't as high as expected.

      My 5 year old LOVES this camera. It has lots of great features that a 5 year old can figure out fairly easily, like selfie mode, photo frames, color filters, photo distortions and VIDEO GAMES (see below). The included lanyard and tripod handle have also miraculously kept the camera from falling, however, almost immediately the right toggle button stopped working, which didn’t render the camera useless, but was very frustrating to my son.

      The biggest issue I have with this "camera" is that it comes with two video games on it. Almost nowhere in the description does it say that it has video games. Only in one product picture is there a small icon that says games. My son is 5 years old and before this he did not have any video games, which is a very intentional choice we have made as parents. This device slipped under my radar because I thought it was just a camera. I recognize that this might not be such a big issue to other parents, but for us, it is a major problem that we could have avoided if the seller had been more up front about the product, especially when they advertise it as suitable for 3 year olds.

      My son loves this camera. It really makes him feel like he has a say in how he expresses his ideas. The tripod is like a golden ticket for him. It has a timer he can set to take selfies, or pictures with me. I love that part, because it is not always easy to find someone to take a picture of us together. Now we don't need anyone, because we can do it ourselves. Plus, the view of this camera can be switched, just like a phone camera. So we can see ourselves before the picture is taken to make sure we are both actually in it. Lol. My son and I are having a lot of fun with this camera. It comes with an SD card. There are games he can play on it, and it is really easy to operate. My son is six, and he was able to figure out everything about it without asking me for help. This is not a cheap camera. It is a solid, well made, fully functional camera with excellent picture quality. It may look like a kid's toy, but it is certainly far from it. I think this is a great product, especially for single parents who don't always have that extra person around to catch those really amazing moments with their kids. With this camera, those moments can be captured together, and have a lot of fun doing so.

      The media could not be loaded.
      This is an amazing little camera for kids. I think I was playing with it as much as my 2 year old.

      She hasn’t put it down since opening.

      It is very nice quality. There is a rubber piece that goes over the front frame that just fall off so I took it off but other than that it’s amazing.

      It has filters and games and you can zoom in as well.

      She loves it now but will hate it soon as it’s going to be only given if she goes to the potty :)

      So hopefully it’s also a great motivator lol
