    I bought this tent for occasional little camping/hiking adventures, oftentimes on my own. When I read the instructions, I was a little worried about how hard it would be for me to set up. (I'm an older petite woman). It was so easy for me to set up by myself - did it in 10 minutes! (before staking)
    It's also super easy to take down & pack up, and... it's really attractive!
    It is rather heavy for backpacking - for me again, a small person. But I'm not surprised, it is the 3-person tent.
    Have not tested it in rain, so I can't comment. It may be perfectly fine in light rain. However the manual states a seam sealer should be used for waterproofing. This was NOT mentioned in the Amazon description.
    So far, all in all I am quite pleased with this purchase.

    Never had a tent with a fly that covers the entire tent. But I set it up in my living room and for 2 people, it's very roomy inside. Setup is really easy, and so is take down. Going to use it for a trip coming up, so I get to see how it handles the weather. It has 2 doors, the fly has 2 vents and 2 doors as well. The tent itself is mostly mesh, so, good air flow. Can't wait to use it out into he wild!

    This tent is super lightweight and great for backpacking in Northern Michigan. I've used it a few times now and though the rain fly is always damp on the outside, the inside is nice and dry. It is so easy to put up and down, my 5 year old can do it. Definitely recommend.

    Only recommendation I'd make us is if you use it in the early spring or late fall, have a very good cold weather sleeping back. I was in the Muskegon river in early spring and definitely needed warm pajamas and a warm sleeping bag for the night.
