At first I thought it could be my lighting or my eyes but no, these are not red in the slightest, they are orange which isn’t even offered. The picture show a deep red like the Rubbermaid lid but I received 3 orange buckets. These are for our girls to make cheer buckets but now we will be painting them as orange is not one of our team colors. If it weren’t for that I don’t think I would really care about the color. If the color matters to you don’t buy the red ones.
