Not thrilled that this thing only stays on for 120 minutes. The ones I’ve used in the past would stay on for up to 12 hours! It would be so great to set it to low temp for 8 hours while I’m at work, so my tiny 7 lb chihuahua could cuddle up under a blanket during the cold winter months. He’d still get the comfort of warmth and the feeling of being next to me, even though I’m not home. But noooo... after 120 minutes, the device just shuts off. And when I get home? My poor lil chihuahua is not happy. Not only is he sad, but he’s utterly furious with me. He makes this mournful crying noise, like he's auditioning for a role in a soap opera, just to let me know how disappointed he is in my life choices. I went from being a 5-star, award-winning dog dad to the kind of guy people refer to as a ‘deadbeat s***m donor’—the one who barely makes child support payments and gives his kid melatonin so he can sneak off with his friends to the slopes. It’s honestly a gut punch, realizing my chihuahua thinks I’m that guy. I never saw myself like this, but now I feel like I should call DPS (Doggy Protective Services) on myself for being such a disgrace to my fur baby. But, 5 stars for being washable. Homeboy was so upset about the cold that he marked his territory all over the pad. Fortunately, the timer kicked in, so it was off, and there was no risk of electrical shock. Easy fix—just unplug, throw it in the washer for a quick clean, and you’re good to go. 10/10, would buy again… for a human who only needs intermittent heat therapy. 1/10, never again for a chihuahua.

Lay the pad over your knees, under your calves and feet, neck, shoulders, back. Grab one now before it gets too expensive to ship overseas!
