Soft cotton with an easy but not baggy fit. I probably could have sized down from a XXL to an XL or even an L, but these were purchased as loungewear around the house, not for the street. I typically wear a LLBean or Amazon Essentials size16 - so roughly 34/36 waist, 44ish hip.
Laundered well, didn't collect lint or pill, potential stains released easily.
Long inseam on me, and waistband falls at hip bone but that might be due to choosing an XXL. Definitely not ankle pants!
My phone fits securely in the pockets.
