Sent a Previously Worn Hat?
I bought this hat at the end of June 2024 for a vacation that we are taking in a sunny climate. I am not a big hat wearer, so I set it on my dresser and never really looked at it until we were packing to leave. I took the tags off of it this morning while getting ready for our trip and when I looked at it closer it looks like someone has already worn it. I have never put this hat on before these pictures were taken. It looks like there are sweat marks on the brim and up the front. It also smells a bit like someone has worn it before. It doesn’t smell new. I am very disappointed. I had heard such good things about this product.

    Yes, it's expensive, yes I was doubtful. It started with one...now I own 3...do they stain eventually, eventually if you sweat in them, yes...can you wash them and they look good afterwords, yes...are they awesome of you have a big head, yes...are they less hot to wear than most hats...yes.... albeit, you are wearing a hat..but its better than most temperature wise..are they built like a tank....yes..you can tell the quality is high compared to most....will it change your life? no..maybe, if you're life is about hats....is it worth the money? yes...give one a try...all shall be revealed.

    I REALLY wanted to like this hat, especially after spending $70 for it, but when it arrived (size XL), the stitching / assembly was the worst I've seen of any hat I've ever purchased. From left to right, there was a 0.5" / 12mm difference in height on the hat bowl with the bill straight. I looked a bit closer and found the bill of the hat was stitched on haphazardly, and the right side of the hat bowl was sitting significantly lower than the left was in relation to the bill of the hat due to the way it was stitched together.

    If you manage to get a good one, I do like the quality and feel of the materials used, but for $70 these kinds of quality control issues SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN.

    I struggle to find hats that fit my large head. This fits perfectly. Only negative is there’s a big rubber stamp with the company’s logo on the underside of the brim. I thought it was a sticker at first but it’s permanent and needless to say the placement of it feels odd to me.
