It’s not a bad thing for me but it takes a while to charge. One thing I do like about the battery pack is that it holds its charge. It’s small, flat and looks cool on my phone. Slides in and out of my pocket with no problems. I’m able to transfer power to another device. Really worth the money.

    I am upgrading my review of this product due to the excellent customer service I got from Lisen and had the chance to test out a replacement of this item which they sent me.

    Sleek nice look. The LEDs look cool showing progress when charging.

    This did not come with a power supply to charge it so I used one I already had with a USB-C connection that it came with. Seems like a lot of companies are not providing the power supply.

    My primary need for this is when I have to meet someone and the power on my phone is low it is nice to have a backup power source that is easy to use.

    CON
    It does not fully charge my iPhone 6e. It will charge it about 50% of what the phone's battery can handle. Based on the description I expected to get 1 full recharge.

    Customer Service sent me a replacement which worked as claimed. I can charge about 50 to 70% of my iPhone 16e capacity. For my needs this is ok in most cases since I do find on occasions when I need to run out to meet someone an my phone battery is very low. The light weight and slim design makes it easier to gram and take with me.

    For iPhone 16 users, if you want to something to recharge your phone get the the 10K instead of the 5K. If all you need is something to provide enough power to your phone when you are out then the 5K is enough until you get back home or office.

    WARNING: If any portable charge starts to get too hot stop using it. I found the first 1 I got did start to over heat Putting in on a metal cabinet helped to dissipate much of the heat. The replacement Lisen sent me got warm but within acceptable range and give about a 70% charge to my phone. They also sent me a 15K which has enough power to charge 2 iphone 16e.

    This LISEN MagSafe battery pack is the definition of “just right.” At only 0.3" thin it hugs the back of my iPhone 15 Pro Max like a second skin, slides under my PopSocket, and still fits in skinny-jean pockets. The soft rose-pink finish looks classy—not flashy—and the magnets are rock-solid; I can shake my phone and the pack never budges.

    Charging speed is impressive: from 20 % to full in about two hours on coffee-shop Wi-Fi (it slows a bit after 75 %, as advertised). The 5,000 mAh capacity tops me off once or gives me a solid rescue boost on long photo walks. Love that it charges (and recharges) via USB-C so one cable does everything.

    No overheating, no weird humming, just quiet, reliable juice. If you want MagSafe convenience without the brick-in-your-pocket feeling, this is it. Highly recommend!

    I used this for the first time yesterday. Fully charged, it got my15 from 10-90%, but it was dead after that. So, disappointing that a 5000 mah battery cannot even fully charge a 3350 mah phone once.

    Per the warnings in the package, it got pretty hot while charging my phone. Will experiment more with the cord and with/without the magnet.

    The best part is the small size, but I guess that is also its limiting factor.

    5/30/25 Update

    Lisen reached out to me and offered several solutions. After several attempts (on their part) I finally replied and, since the 5000 seemed lacking, I opted for a 10000 replacement. It arrived yesterday and I still have to put it through the paces to see how it fares. For comparison, it is the same profile, but almost just under 2x as thick, and 2x as heavy (figures). The point of this update is to confirm that Lisen customer service is for real.

    6/1/2025 Update

    I got nearly 2 full charges out of the 10000 mah unit and there is still 1 light on, so I'm guessing 2-2.5 charges worth of power. These were wired charges without using the magnet. Not sure if using the magnet affects the available power. On the plus side, wired charging was pretty fast (maybe 2% per minute?).

    As I said above, it's 2x as thick, so a little more cumbersome to use with the phone (wirelessly with magnet) but it's definitely doable.

    I was not totally satisfied with the original purchase for a number of reasons. However, I also wasn’t totally dissatisfied with it either. Its biggest benefit was always its strongest selling point, the fact that it is ultra slim.

    First, I’d like to say thank you to Bonnie and her excellent customer service. Most companies sell you something and walk away. LISEN on the other hand actually listened and was willing to address my concerns.

    Obviously I was unaware there was an updated version of the product I received. The company’s solution was to replace the purchase with the newer version. They also offered a full refund, but I was more interested in the product itself and its slim profile. What has changed?

    One concern was the original purchase got warmer than I liked while charging my phone. This new version DOES NOT warm up while charging my phone. LISEN has resolved this issue.

    The original purchase charged my phone slower than I liked. This has been resolved in the newer version.

    The original purchase did not charge my phone completely. As Bonnie pointed out and she is correct, I own an iPhone Pro Max. The 5K version of this device or any other brand is not capable of giving the larger battery in the Pro Max a full charge, but it will get you 80% of the way there (typically good enough). If you’re looking for a full charge on the Pro Max, purchase the larger 10K version of the LISEN (full charge plus).

    The original purchase took a long time to recharge. This issue has been resolved in the newer version. It recharges at least as fast as advertised.

    My final issue with the original purchase was the MagSafe connection. The primary connection is strong and that was true on the original purchase. Not falling off. My issue was and still is that it can twist easier than I’d prefer. If you’re familiar with the MagSafe design, it has the circle and line on the bottom. The line on the bottom prevents a device from twisting or turning. This portion of the magnet could still be improved, but is a minor concern.

    Updated conclusion. The newer version is a solid product and delivers as promised. And again, its best feature is how slim it is (unmatched in the industry, at the moment). Less bulk, less weight. They have resolved the biggest issues, but could improve it further, per my last comment. In all, I’d give it 4.5 stars, but that is not an option. Because they addressed the most pressing issues in the new version, it gets 5 stars.

    Its ok. 1st use I found that it overheated and took a long time to charge. At the time it was in my pocket or being used.

    2nd time I did a controlled test. Cool room and no usage. Went from 40% to 95% on my phone (samsung s25 edge) in approx 2.5 hours before the pack was depleted.

    I like how compact it is, and magnet strength is excellent, but for peace of mind, Id like to be assured I can at least get 1 full charge from the battery pack. It seems that, Id get 55% charge in optimum conditions.

    Update:

    Increased the number of stars due to the excellent customer service received from the provider, who contacted me proactively following my review and did everything they could to improve my experience. I will keep the item too as its a very compact backup to have in an emergency.
