Winnie is a winner!
It was the shaved lemon ice scent that did it. I mean, who on Earth could resist a Winnie the Pooh Plush Toy that smells like lemon ice? As kids we loved our lemon ice treats, so this toy serves up a lot of nostalgia for the old lady who bought it. And I have to say, the scent of Winnie does not disappoint. He smells absolutely delectable, bright, fresh and natural, just like lemon ice should smell. Now, this Winnie does look different than the bear of my youth but that's okay because the baby won't know the difference. All that will matter to the little girl we have in mind, is that this toy is cuddly, soft, squishy, brightly colored and smells like a treat! He arrived looking a bit crushed, but a few minutes in the dryer helped him to plump right up. He is well constructed with ears, hands, and shaved ice on top all securely attached. I don't know exactly where the scent is on the inside of him, but anywhere I put my nose there it is, and it's delightful. And lest I forget to mention, the blush patches on his cheeks are a very nice touch. Winnie is a cutie in every respect and certainly worth the $14.99 currently being asked for him. Of course he has now opened the floodgates to collecting all of his friends and seeing how good they might smell as well!
