    Texture of these boots is a lovely suede. The color is a very light beige, versatile with jeans, dress pants, dresses or skirts. I had high thermal socks on from a hike when I tried them and my foot was comfortable. I did not feel the scratchiness other reviewers found. I ordered my true size, 7. I can easily stick a heel support in there and still be comfortable. I will most often wear them under pants with thermal socks like these for winter. Very satisfied with this purchase. Excellent value for money. I don’t like heels higher than 2 inches, and this is just the right lift with my slightly longer jeans without feeling like I have heels on. They are also easy to get on and off as the sides have some gives to them. The cowboy boot details are also a nice touch.
