How durable are they compared to sponges?

FEBU Swedish dishcloths are very durable and can be washed up to 50x. Each cloth can last up to 9 months with regular cleaning (dishwasher or washing machine). Regular sponges require frequent replacement as they break down quickly & harbor bacteria
Do they leave lint or streaks behind?

FEBU Swedish dishcloths leave no streaks or residue behind. They are lint-free and non-abrasive. As the dishcloths are hyper-absorbent, it is important to rinse or wash in between uses to wash off dust or oils that can leave lint or streaks behind.
Are they safe to use on surfaces?

They are scratch-free and safe to use on all surfaces.
What size are the dishcloths?

FEBU Swedish Dishcloths are 8” x 7”. They will arrive dry and appear smaller until moistened. To note, due to a special dye process, the solid black cloths arrive smaller than the white printed cloths, but will expand to full size when wet.
Do they dry quickly to prevent mildew growth?

Yes, they dry quickly, so there is no time for odors or bacteria to develop.

EDIT: ok, I’m adding a star bc I figured out something kinda weird. When these are dry, they don’t soak up anything. BUT if you get them wet and ring them out, they soak up a TON! They even dry stuff, even my hands. It’s crazy!

Great as dish clothes when you get them wet and wipe down your counter but they do not soak up anything. So if you spill, these don’t work like paper towels are traditional dish clothes unfortunately. I’m trying to stop using so many paper towels but these definitely don’t replace them.

I think these dish cloths are great! I was worried that them being biodegradable they would be flimsy and break down quickly but they last longer than any of my other cloths and the quick dry/ absorbent nature of them is very effective and works well!
