I've assembled a lot of furniture for us over the years, and this was the easiest. It is a dovetail approach, but the tabs are sturdy. I had to take some time to line them up because I have some vision issues, but once in line they popped solidly into place. On some of them I was able to line up all the tabs and pop the entire shelf on. On some I ended up working my way around. It is solid and turns very well, even heavily loaded and sitting on a carpet. Huge kids books are a bit too big, but it fits regularly sized picture books and below with a slight overhang we don't find objectionable. Love it so far. I'll update if we have problems.

    It was fairly easy to assemble. The instructions could have been better but easy to figure out. Very sturdy. Works exactly as expected. The only thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars was that you can see the holes where it was assembled on the top.
