I knew it's small so I bought 2 as gifts for my 2 kid nieces. I can't imagine it be good for adults. Small person maybe. It's cute and compact, well-made, but open/close are not automatic. That I realized upon checking it out. I was under the impression it is. Manual open/close are easy enough, so ok. Better for kids or they might wear out the mechanism if it's automatic. I guess same way that it's manual. Oh, well.

I also liked that they had zipper cases so they don’t get smashed or broken. I took mine on vacay and it came in handy as we got hit with a downpour while in Charleston. I opened the umbrella and at first I thought I was doing something wrong and it wasn’t expanding and opening all the way. But no. That was as big as it got. It is tiny. The umbrella part it self was a pretty normal size but the handle was super short and if you hold it in your hand next to your face, it’s just making it over your head, if that makes sense. The metal in the umbrella also feels very cheap. I am super disappointed with this purchase and need to buy new travel umbrellas because these are just 👎🏻.
