Each crew cut sock provides compression, arch support, and a reinforced heel and toe to ensure maximum comfort and protection for your child’s feet. The rib knit design gives elasticity and an elastic cuff prevents bunching. 15% of each sock is made with durable nylon that reduces wear and tear. 10% is composed of stretchable elastic to keep your kid’s socks from loosening no matter where they wander.

Product Description

Merino Wool Kids Socks
Kids go through socks like crazy, and when you want a pair that’s warm, designed to last, and great for outdoor adventures, these Merino wool socks are the way to go.
Features & Benefits
Comfort And Support
Kids often remove their socks because they’re uncomfortable, but these Merino wool socks for kids are a different story. 10% elasticity keeps them on securely while compression support makes them ultra-comfortable. Kids can wear them with shoes or boots for a day at school or a fun outing.
Socks For Fun In Nature
Whether you’re on a weekend camping trip or taking a hike during a Sunday afternoon, Merino wool socks will keep up with your little one with ease. Their breathable nature offers warmth and breathability without overheating and allows them to be worn no matter what you’re doing outside.
Keeps Tiny Feet Fresh
Even small feet can work up a big smell by the end of the day, especially if you’ve been active outside. Other winter socks for kids tend to trap odor and feel dirty by nighttime, but Merino wool is different. Natural odor-resistant properties keep feet fresh after hours of wear.
Stays Clean And Dry
Beyond simply allowing your child’s feet to stay smelling fresh, Merino wool socks for kids actually keep them dry too. This material naturally wicks away moisture so that no matter how great the outdoor adventures are, your little one’s feet will be cool and dry from start to finish.

Why Merino Wool?
Adaptive Clothing
Unlike other materials, Merino wool is a reactive material that adapts to your body's temperature. It regulates so that you are never too hot or cold in any weather.
Naturally Warm
Originating from Merino sheep from Australia that endure temperatures as low as 5 degrees, Merino wool is a lightweight, naturally warm fiber.
Itch-Free
Unlike regular wool fiber that is heavy, coarse, and itchy, Merino wool actually has thinner, finer fibers that make it soft to the touch and cause no irritation to the skin.
Ultra Soft
Merino’s fibers are much smaller in diameter than other wool which gives the fibers the ability to bend softly with increased flexibility. The result? Soft to the touch.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2024Size: LargeColor: PinkVerified PurchaseVery warm and offer great padding. And they last!! I've had mine for 2 years, I wear them almost daily in winter, I put them through the laundry with all my other clothes, and they are still in moderately good shape (look a bit old but no one but me sees them and they are still very solid with no thinning at wear spots). If they had neutral colors like black or grey I would be in heaven.
I suspect they may not be pure wool because they have done well washed with regular laundry, but I wouldn't want pure wool anyhow. Too much hassle. Also I have a mild lanolin allergy but I can wear these against my bare skin (when I bought them I planned to wear them over cotton socks, but it turned out I didn't need to.)
I bought them in a size smaller than my shoe size because I prefer overly tight socks to socks that bunch or move while exercizing, and though they looked small, they did stretch to fit nicely. That said, I think they do run true to size.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2024Size: MediumColor: GreenVerified PurchaseIt's hard to find wool socks that are actually made with mostly wool...many other brands claim to be wool but in reality are mostly synthetic fibers with a little wool mixed in. These are 75% merino wool, which is good enough for the price. We've been buying these for over 3 years now for our kids and we love them! I get a different color for each kid so that they know whose is whose. They stand up very well to wear and tear--my son just wore a hole into one of his pairs that he's had for over 2 years. He's not gentle on his clothes either (he often wears his socks outside without shoes!) so I was impressed it had lasted that long. They're warm enough to wear just the one pair in winter temperatures. I don't give them a 5 star on comfort because my kids say they're a little itchy on the inside but they get over it and don't care. Perhaps not a great fit if your kid is sensitive to texture. Worth the price--I will keep buying these every year!

They are easy to put on and the fact that it comes in a pack of three is wonderful. Excellent quality! She also liked the little sticker that came in the box.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2020Size: SmallColor: DuskVerified PurchaseBaught for my 2 yr old who wears an 8. I ordered a small for sizes 9-11.5 to give her room to grow and they are snug on her! So I don't see her getting alot of wear out of them before I have to repurchase. Nice quality. Wish they were a little softer. They are thick! Would be good for winter. I got for summer hiking and will get thinner ones next time. Much thicker than expected. Keep that in mind if your kids shoes are snug they may not fit in the shoe well. They are hard to get on her but once on they seem to fit fine, snug but aren't to tight. Her feet are super sweaty and these seem to absorb some of it. Her feet are still damp but not as bad a regular socks. They protect her feet from blisters. Would buy again but would go up a size.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2024Size: LargeColor: NavyVerified PurchaseMERIWOOL KIDS HIKING SOCKS: Great quality, wonderful fit. Soft and warm.I am an adult with small feet. I buy size 5 women tennis shoe. Occasionally I buy a size 4 kids shoe, or boot. The socks in size L fit perfectly. What a joy to find a quality sock in my size. Wish I could find a source for quality light weight sock for warmer weather wear as well.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2024Size: LargeColor: BlueVerified PurchaseThese are good merino wool socks. Given the thickness of these socks, to get three of them in the pack is a good value. These come in a box and therefore do not have a little plastic attachment to cut out and feed through the socks/tear a hole in the socks. This is much appreciated for a multipack of wool socks. Many others I have purchased came packaged that way and I’ve often seen this result in tears or holes in the stitching of the socks depending on how they are bound.
These socks are soft, generously thick, and the color is consistent across the pairs. It is good to find a youth size for real merino wool that doesn’t break the bank. Pair these to a good poly sock liner and kid’s of most ages will be good to go. The fit of these appears to accommodate a variety of youth sized feet. Since I bought this pack for multiple kids, this is a major plus and makes laundry later simpler. The only drawback to these socks is that I wish they came in a four pack instead of three - but that’s by no means a dealbreaker.

The socks are not label small or medium. I bought both sizes and they are identical. Very suspicious to me!
They shrink like crazy too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality for the price!
Size: LargeColor: BlueVerified PurchaseI was expecting fairly basic wool socks for the prize, but was very pleasantly surprised - these are super soft, very thick and cozy, my picky kids love them, and they've held up well after a few washes. They are very nearly too small for my 11 y/o boy, who wears size 5.5 shoes, but we should get a season of use out of them. They are perfect for my 9 y/o boy with size 3 feet.
