Only part of the sock has ruffles. Sock is on the thinner side. Grips wouldn’t be sticky enough for a plank. Better socks are available elsewhere.

    I bought these for my mom after she broke her hip. The marble, hardwood, and tile flooring throughout different rooms of the house are like landmines just waiting for her to slip up and make her situation even worse. So these socks were exactly what the doctor ordered.

    The little silicon dots line a large area on the sole of the socks so it allows for more than ample surface area where they make contact with the floor. The dots are securely attached and haven't worn down or ripped off after numerous washes. And they're decent material so they definitely create adequate friction.

    The cloth is soft and she's been very comfortable in them. She also enjoys the colors as well as the little frilly edge they have along the top.

    Whatever reason you may have for buying socks with this kind of lining on the bottom, I don't think you can go wrong with these. They've helped give her a tremendous amount of confidence with every step she takes, especially those dubious-feeling steps where she needs to twist awkwardly or shift her weight to one side to avoid the shooting pain she's currently feeling.

    Thumbs up on these for sure.

    I'd like to have given these 4 1/2 stars. Because these are cute socks, they fit well, and I don't see any construction defects. I like the grips on the bottom; they should keep me from sliding on our wood floors and stairs. The colors are nice and the ruffled cuffs are sweet. My only gripe is that I ordered them because they are supposedly 90% cotton, but these socks do not feel like cotton, even after washing. I find socks made of other materials uncomfortable and tend to kick them off when I try to wear them. It's possible that because of the way these are made, it will take multiple washings for them to have the comfortable softness of cotton, but time will tell. Meanwhile, I'll give them a shot, and maybe wear them over other socks. If you don't need to have cotton on your feet, go for it. They are otherwise nice socks. Edit: After wearing these socks for a few months (no, not the whole time: regular washings, I promise!), I've decided that I really love these socks and they probably are cotton, just the kind that needs a few washing to soften. I think they are actually very well made.

    I'm not a yoga girl but I could see how these would be great to wear on a yoga session. The little rubber dots on the sole of the such would grip during yoga movements and would make one feel stable in the process.

    I like the ruffle on top! I think it's a cute feature. They are comfortable- not tight around the ankle area.

    I used them initially when I was traveling. I didn't want to take a pair of slippers with me because they are so bulky. These socks for the bill for a slipper substitute. Gripping the floor while I'm walking, not bulky, comfortable, easy to pack.

    And since there's three in a pack, I can afford to share. And I love that feature, too.

    I should get some more soon! Versatile colors go with most of what I normally wear.

    I wouldn't normally wear lavender or baby blue socks, but these are really cute with the ruffle at the top. I like the grip on the bottom, since I usually wear socks around my hardwood/tile floored house.

    The socks are a little more substantial than I expected and I think they will last a while before wearing out. The fabric feels of good quality, with the 90% cotton content. They maintained their shape in the wash (just washed once so far, but I don't think future washes will be any different), and the elastic holds the socks up firmly without being tight.

The ruffles are a little girly but they are not too obvious and they do stretch out somewhat. I like to fold back the socks so they look shorter and more cute that way.

    The grip dots on the soles are very good and indeed they prevent slipping.

    Size wise these are somewhere in the middle, I guess that large feet might have some complaints, but my feet are 7.5 so these fit perfect on me.

    Wonderful, for the price you can’t go wrong, I would order again

    Note that I personally didn't mind the non-slip grip under the socks, but if you are looking for that they work really well.
