In this lively alphabet rhyme, all the letters of the alphabet race each other up the coconut tree. Will there be enough room? Oh, no—Chicka Chicka Boom! Boom!
Countless children—and their parents—can joyfully recite the familiar words of this beloved alphabet chant. Bill Martin, Jr., and John Archambault’s rhythmic text keeps the beat with Caldecott Honor illustrator Lois Ehlert’s bold, cheerful art. 5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic book that is also a song and animated video
I bought this book on a whim only later to see it in a spotify recommendation as a song. There are many versions but the one by the original authors is the best. There is also a short video that accompanies the song by the original authors on youtube. Again, search for the original authors as there are many versions. My son first heard the song, then saw the video and once I showed him the book he was thrilled. We read it nearly every day.
