So, we bought this Jeep for our son in 2019. The charger that comes with the unit is ok at best and the 7ah battery is probably the worst I've dealt with in the past 20 years. We would get about 20 minutes of runtime on average in the grass and road beside our house. Over the years I've added some bushings to the wheels and steering assembly to make it a bit more solid. (the steering assembly is wonky AF and the manual does NOT explain this. It's very counter intuitive, when going to install you'll understand. It's installation is backwards from what you'd imagine when you first see it you'll think it's "wrong".
Nearly 3 years later, the jeep is still running great for being mostly "stock". I'm currently in the works of upgrading the ESC and wiring for bigger/faster motors. I've already switched to a 10Ah LiFePo4 battery and Genius 2 charger for the lithium batteries. (stock charger barely works for wet cell stock battery). If anything else, replace the stock charger as it's total junk and will only quicken the pace that the stock battery fails. With the LiFePo4 the jeep runs for 1.5 hours or so constant run time.
Overall, the assembly is kind of difficult (comes in 2 different boxes), the stock charger is terrible and WILL fail/cause battery to fail, stock battery is aweful. After you address those issues, this little jeep beats all the power wheels models our friends have. Not to mention it was decently priced and with the $40 battery, $40 charger, $40 in parts to make it a little better it cost us about the same as the "good" models of power wheels. Ours lasts longer, rides better, and is actually faster (don't know stock gearing differences but this jeep is pretty fast for "stock" motors.

Fun to ride and seemingly built tough
My best friend got his son an electric car for his son's birthday last year, and he was really excited to play with it. It broke after just 6 weeks of riding, devastating his son. My friend could not fix the issue. So, for this year's birthday, my wife and I surprised his son with this electric jeep. We wish we could have seen the kid's face, but his dad told us that he and his sister are again excited about riding it. He noted that it's bigger, taller, and looks better built than his previous one. I asked him what he thought of the jeep. Here is what he wrote back (with some corrections of my own): "The assembly was really simple, [and] I believe that anyone can do it. All of the tools were provided by the [manufacturer except for] a [Phillips] screwdriver. [When] you follow the manual, it can be a bit [confusing], but it gets easier as you go on. The only thing about the manual is that it does not tell you to attach the front wheel shaft to the steering wheel rod. So in the end, I [had] to go back and undo the front wheel to attach the steering to the steering wheel rod. (See picture with the green circle)." He continued to suggest a YouTube assembly video if you don't want to read the instructions. Since Amazon does not allow linking websites, search YouTube for "TY325957 Assembly Video 2 0" by "service costway". "[My son likes] the realism of it, like the working light, steering wheels, forward and reverse, seat belts and comfortable seats. [My 7-year-old daughter] also [enjoys] riding it when he is not playing with it. Even though the car is made from plastic, it was really durable and not cheap like the previous one that broke down. Under the hood, there [is] plenty of room to add another batter[y] if you like. This would give you twice the range, but you have to do some wiring to accomplish that. For me, I use it as a place to put all of the accessories (charging unit and remote control) that [came] with the car so I won’t [lose] them. The [charging] was relatively fast from low to full [in] like an hour. For this model, the charge input is under the dashboard at 45 degree[s]. This can be a bit troublesome because you don’t really get it right when you need to charge the jeep. I feel like that one of [these days,] I might break or bend the pin inside the [plug]." He gave it two thumbs up or 5 stars. Since I haven't seen the product myself, I'll take his word for it.

I ordered this Jeep for my grandson. I will start out by saying the instructions were sometimes hard to understand BUT I figured it out. I think the translation from Chinese to English may be some of it. I had to contact customer support twice and they were very fast at responding and very helpful. Once was to find out about my 2nd box bc it comes 2-2 boxes. It showed up 3-4 days after the first one. Very quick at sending em a tracking number on it and 2nd was about a part of the instructions that I didn’t understand. I thought I had a missing part bc it said to install it but we figured out that it was pre-installed. They were fast at responding to my question and was willing to send me the part that I thought was missing.

I got it put together in about 1.5 hours. Everything seems to work just fine on it! It’s for his birthday next week so we haven’t “tested” it out yet with him riding it, battery time, or using the remote out yet!
So far it seems great! Can update later if need be!

Fairly easy to assemble, no parts missing, it just takes a little while to assemble it all. I was a little hesitant to order this Jeep because some are saying that the battery life is no good but it has been lasting and working great for us. It looks amazing and my almost 3 year old son loves it! His new favourite ride :) i just wish the body was more of a tough plastic because the front bender indented just a tad already. Ok, lets start by saying this bad boy is perfect. It took me almost 2hours to bring the parts altogether. I must say I was a bit disappointed because you don't receive your entire shipment at once, you receive a box at a time. I was pissed I had to contact seller. The next day I received the other box. Looking at a instructions itself, it might take you a year or more to figure out as it is the case with Covid. So go on YouTube, search costzon ride I car assembly and off you go, in less than a hour you will be done, that is if you are smart, but if in case you are as average as myself, might take you 2hours or more.
