    I’ve been buying these for years, I think maybe 4 in total. I like that they really have the fan sound, it seems like the electronic ones always sound a bit off.
    It has the option to turn some pieces to change the sound a bit to your liking, I always just set them to the loudest lowest pitch, but I imagine there are people who like something else.
    Now I said I’ve bought at least 4 over like 10 or more years. The first one I bought lasted 5+ years of nightly use before it started sounding funny and I replaced it. Two others are in my kids rooms. The first one had the smoothest most consistent sound, all 3 after that have some “wobbliness” to the sound right out of the box. I find the newer ones slightly annoying, but not enough to really matter, after running for a bit they seem to steady out enough.
    The plastic material has gotten more plasticy feeling over the years, I don’t think it affects usage.

    I can't handle the sound of digital white noise generators so I decided to try this. Two years later I'm still using it every night to fall asleep to. Really pleasant sound with a nice adjustability feature. Very well build and high quality. Convenient size to be able to place it anywhere in a room. Fair price for all the peace and comfort it has provided for me over the years.

    My spouse and I have been trying to search for a solution for snoring problem... I am an ultra sensitive sleeper and I could still hear the snoring despite using ear plugs. We tried nasal strips, humidifiers, essential oil, raising the bed, even putting construction ear muffs on top of my ear plugs. Tried this machine for a few nights and it's been amazing. This machine worked so much better than white noise YouTube videos we played on our laptop (we kept cranking up the YouTube volume to cover the snoring but turns out to be super loud and obnoxious). I placed the machine beside my head and the noise sounds natural because it's not from a recording but from a real fan. When used together with ear plugs, somehow the frequency blends in with the snoring (which is deeper and lower frequency that usually penetrates the ear plugs) and gave me miraculously uninterrupted nights of good sleep. When my spouse got out of bed for work, I didn't even feel a thing and kept dreaming on! Definitely worth a try if you've tried everything like us!

    This models had been on my radar for a few years but until recently only an old version was available to us Aussies.
    Nothing beats the mechanically created white noise by this machine! It is far superior to electronically created sounds or "nature" sounds from apps. This is especially suitable for people who want a minimalist bedroom setup, without phones or other gadgets. The delivery was fast and the item arrived just as described. Love the colour!
