This is a good tool to help measure and push in nails for hanging some thing less than 10 pounds. I’ve had it for a while but have not used it, and rely on blue painter’s tape and a level.

    I tried two other products that were meant to do the same thing, but this one works the best for me. Although there is room for improvement. Such as - I wish it would just mark the spot on the wall instead of driving the nails in because I prefer to use 2 hangers to hold my pictures on the wall, but if I don't mash very hard, it will leave marks for me instead of driving the nails in. Wouldn't work on really large pictures but luckily most of my pictures are smaller.

    I had hopes for this but generally when I have a hard time hanging a frame it’s because it’s fairly large and needs two nails a ways apart. This is really only for small frames. 3 stars because I assume it would work for small frames but I didn’t get to test it because literally all of my frames were too big to use with this.

    This is really a genius idea. Being able to accurately place 2 hangers exactly level at the same time is excellent.

    As an avid art collector, and someone who having art hanging crooked drives crazy, I prefer hanging from 2 nails nearly always. This provides far greater stability and will keep everything from slipping from being level.

    This is an amazing tool if a piece is around 20” wide but if it is wider than that this won’t work as it’s just too small. I wish it was wider and the mechanisms that are used to insert the nails were mobile on the rails.

    With that being said, I have been able to utilize this with a large number of pieces to easily hang art - perfectly level, in a fraction of the time it typically takes me.

    This is a great product for small to medium sized pieces. It will definitely save you time and it works well.

    This National Hardware N260-147 Art Tool Makes Hanging Pictures Super Easy.

    I've always been a little off center, and that's kind of how I have always hung my pictures. I just eyeball it, or wing it.

    From time to time I have thought to buy a level, but never did. When I saw this product, I knew I had to order it.

    This National Art Tool, the left side Green Punch side is stationary, but the right side of it, you can move it right or left. You can even remove it, as well as the white piece next to it that says Level Art is also removable. With both pieces off, it measures about 14" total, from left to right.

    I love that it comes with 12 nails, so that means you can hang 6 pictures if you use two nails, or 12 pictures if you only use one nail. Each nail holds up to 5 pounds, so you could also use this to hang other lightweight objects. The nails that come with this are very easy to find, if you don't already have some. Years ago I bought a picture hanging kit, so I know that I do have more. I love that the nails are right below the level, in a closed case, so that you have all that you need right there.

    First, you measure the back of whatever you want to hang with this Art Tool, then flip it over, add one or two nails where indicated in the directions, depending on what you want to hang, it's in the white part, near the bottom of each Green part, or if you are only using one, then make sure it's level, and then press each Green part firmly where you want it on the wall, then hang your picture or object, and your done.

    It couldn't be easier! Problem solved!
