I like these corkboard squares. They are very large. They cover a great area and pretty much any surface. They are super easy to apply and you can move them if needed. Any pushpin's go in them fine and I've had no problem hanging anything that I've wanted to hang on them- from larger things to smaller things. They look fine without a frame, but you can easily frame them if you want to. I have put these in a bedroom and in my office. overall, I would recommend these. I think you get what you paid for in this product. It’s very well made for what it is. It’s felt covered cardboard with double sided tape on the back of it. I haven’t tested the stickiness of the tape yet because it already failed my first test: is the board thick enough for the pins to not poke through? It’s funny that this product comes with pins that has long needles. I tested those pins first and see the needle end poking out on the other side. This is a problem if you don’t want to find a wall full of pin holes whenever you decide to take the pinboard down. Then I used my own pins and still see the same issue: the board is not thick enough.

Otherwise, I find the quality to be very good. It’s not warped, good fabric. Maybe too light and feels like cardboard wrapped with felt but again, you get what you paid for. If I put it up on my wall, I feel confident that it looks great. My only unknown is the stickiness of the tape and whether it’s “renter friendly” (no wall damage when taking pinboard down).

In conclusion, I believe this product is suited for someone who’s looking for good value and doesn’t mind pin pricks on the walls or is willing to invest in those “mini” pins. My recommendation to the manufacturer is to increase the thickness of your product OR don’t include the pins along with your product so that your customers wouldn’t be so quick to find out about the needle sticking out problem. Let them find out months later when they are moving out and gotta do an inspection with their landlords. ( ;
