Came across the Scott brand toilet tissue on a sale & needed to refill my emergency stock pile of TP. The sale price was great at $5.60 per pack and I always like to have LOTS of extra on hand.
I didn't notice the 1-ply part until I opened the box & was putting it away. I took a pack & opened it, thinking I had more than likely just purchased sandpaper for my bum.
Wrong! I'm actually really suprised at the quality. It's like a Cottonelle knock off! Cleaning ridges and all.
Yes, the rolls are smaller than the expensive guys and it's not AS thick, but it's really pretty good stuff.
Since i had opened it, I put it in the bathrooms and my two college aged sons haven't said a word about it. And they are always the first to complain about "bad toilet paper". I sent them back to college with packs of this too.
It's a good bargain, definitely feels like a 2-ply and is soft. I will save my money & continue to purchase this when needed.
