This had me at Lavender. Lol
The fabric on this tote is very soft and very flexible.
As normal, I didn't pay attention to the size of this tote when I ordered it, and it is huge!

There are 2 generously sized pockets on the front, about 6-1/2 inches across. A cell phone in a large cover will easily fit into these front pockets.
There is another pocket on the side for water bottles.

The soft sides allow you to pack odd-shaped objects without worrying that you will break the object while trying to stuff it into an unyielding container.
This also allows the bag to be squished into available travel space (as long as you have no breakables).

The biggest downside to soft sides is that rain, water, and other liquid can soak through and get everything in the bag wet. Despite what the description says, this bag is not waterproof. It is water resistant, however. I tested with just water (other liquids would have caused bigger issues and stains), and the water would bead up on the material. If it sat for any length of time, it would soak in. Actively pressing the water against the material also caused it to soak in. If you go to the beach and place the tote on wet sand, the bottom will become wet and get everything inside wet. If you carry wet towels or clothing in it, that wetness will soak through and wet anything the bag is on or beside.
Also, without any structure to the sides or bottom, it is more difficult to carry heavier items.
