It works great. I tried a stand-alone dispenser but it is always in the way in my tiny sink space and I constantly knocked it over. This one doesn’t seem to be completely water proof. But I rarely sprinkle water on it. It became a quite a hidden benefit because I used to constantly wiping off the water/soap after each use. I don’t have to do the same.
I wish it had a better dispenser amount control. 1 gives me too little 2 is a bit too much, 3 is useless.
It lights up and tells you the temperature in Celsius. Not sure it is for the room temperature or the liquid. Who cares?
