This is a five star product, but I felt that it was important to note that the product description is unclear/wrong (see image). The box states clearly "Hand Wash Only". Should have taken a picture of this before I threw out the box. I don't mind that much that it's not dishwasher safe; it's not hard to clean, and it would take up a lot of space in the dishwasher anyway. But for someone as lazy as me who hates washing dishes, this is an important point. Many reviewers state that they put in the dishwasher all the time without problems, others state it warps, and the product description says "Dishwasher Safe" right above "Hand Wash Only", but I think I'll be safe and go by what it states on the box itself.

    This makes washing greens and other veggies and fruit very easy. I do wish it came with instructions, but I watched the video on the Amazon page and it's pretty simple. Put your greens in the basket, lock the lid down, fill to desired water level, spin, drain, and then spin again to dry. Very easy. It has plenty of room to do enough veggies or greens for a family size salad. The drain holes work very well and it doesn't leak all over, so that's good, as I've had that issue with other spinners. It's quite easy to clean. Honestly most of the time I just rinse it and put it in the dish drainer. I like that even though the top can get water inside it because there's two pieces, the water completely drains out when you leave it sitting in the dish drainer. No collection of water to make it smell or mildew.

Just make sure that when you snap the top on that the green snaps are not aligned with any of the little plastic markers on the side. If you align it wrong, it just won’t close properly.
